The anarchive's pin of last resort — a self-hosted pinning service whose pinset holds everything, including the high-resolution originals no free tier can carry. Part of the Anarchive Media Plan.
## Today: the Pi5 and the X9
Today the Homebase is one Kubo node: the Pi5, with its repo on the X9 drive at `/mnt/wikimedia`. Install and daemon mechanics live on IPFS Pinning — this page names the role, not the box.
## Across the Homelabs
The growth path is IPFS Cluster's follower peers: `ipfs-cluster-follow` replicates a shared pinset across home nodes, designed exactly for this. Each Hitchhiker Homelab that joins runs a follower, and the anarchive's pinset gains a copy per household. Direction, not shipped — no install steps until a second node exists.
